Lifetime Achievement Award winners Jonnie Dvorak and Jackie Harris have collaborated in numerous ways over the years. They have sought ways to work together to enrich their professional lives as well as the profession. Suggesting this idea springs from their spirit of collaboration. In 2019 ICLCA will award the first Learning Center Collaboration Grant.
purposeThe purpose of the ICLCA Learning Center Collaboration Grant is to provide financial assistance for at least two learning center professionals from two separate post-secondary institutions who will collaborate and share the load of conducting research or the development of program initiatives. | the grant will consist ofThe $1500 grant will be divided evenly between each of the recipients' institutions for ICLCA supported research or program development. One recipient from each institution will receive a conference fee waiver for 50% of the member price for registration with the expectation that they will present their progress/findings at the following ICLCA Conference. Recipients are also expected to submit their results to the TLAR at the conclusion of their research/program development. |
GENERAL AWARD PREFERENCES & REQUIREMENTSAll members are welcome to apply for awards and grants. Preference will be given to those who have not won the award in the last 2 years.
Membership to ICLCA is required prior to nominating or applying for an award or grant. An affiliate member must also become a member of ICLCA in order to be eligible for awards and grants. |
